Infinity Park is excited to jump into the summer of 2021 with the Glendale in the Park movie series. Fans will be able to sprawl out on the pitch when movies return to the jumbotron on July 12.
“We are so excited to be able to offer free movie nights to the Glendale community and beyond,” Glendale City Manager Linda Cassady said of the return of movie nights, “It’s a great way to celebrate the summer with friends and family sitting outside and enjoying a movie on the big screen.”
When Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse runs on Monday, July 12, it will mark the first time since 2019 that a movie will be played on the pitch at Infinity Park as the COVID-19 pandemic cancelled events around the globe. It also marks the return of one of the best summer events in the metro area since its inception in 2008.
To make up for lost time, Infinity Park is thrilled to announce the showing of five movies throughout the summer of 2021. The titles ad dates of the showings are as follows:
- Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse – Monday, July 12th
- Raya and the Last Dragon – Monday, July 26th
- Footloose – Monday, August 9th
- The Croods: A New Age – Monday, August 30th
- Disney Pixar’s Soul – Monday, September 13th
As always, the Glendale in the Park movie series will be completely free to any guests that would like to attend. The more, the merrier! We encourage our guests to bring in any food or drinks that they wish, but leave the glass containers at home.
It has been over a year since Infinity Park has hosted a movie night, and the entire staff is ready to welcome moviegoers back to the pitch. Whether you are looking for an inexpensive date night, an affordable event for the entire family, or something to do to ease into your work week, we hope you consider attending the Glendale in the Park movie series!
If you can’t make a movie night, we encourage you to check out our event calendar on our website for a list of other fun things we’ve got going on at Infinity Park for the rest of the year. From concerts to rugby matches to talent shows, you’re sure to find something that draws your interest!
