Infinity Park gates open for the show at 5:00 pm on Saturday September 17th with the music starting at 6:00. Those attending are welcome to bring their own picnic or purchase dinner from one of the food trucks on site. A bar will also be available to purchase beverages during the event. Only sealed drinks like water bottles are allowed into the venue, no glass containers please. The Infinity Park Festival Plaza is an intimate outdoor location where fans will be able to stretch out on their own chairs and blankets for the show.
This year the format of the competition has been updated. In April, 81 bands submitted applications to be a part of the show. Sixteen bands were announced in June as semi-finalist. In July, fans were able to vote once per day for a two-week period for their favorite act, this finalized the six-band line-up for the show.
Fans will have the opportunity to jump into the competition the evening of the 17th, by voting for a fan favorite who will receive a $500 award.
The three judges for this year’s show are Storm Gloor, Glendale City Council, and CU Music Professor; Kyle Harman, local music promoter; and Nikki Swarn, General Manager and Program Director of the Drop. These three will decide who walks away as champion.
